How to create a Category in WordPress?
To create a category, go to the menu Posts > Categories. You add category / categories in WordPress with the following information:
- Name: Name of the category.
- String for static path: The path of the category used on the website. If you leave it blank it will be automatically created.
- Current category: Is the category you want to create a child of any category? If so, select the parent category here.
- Describe: Short description of the content of the section.
After filling in all the information, press the button. Add category.
