Welcome back to Basic WordPress learning series. So I have gone through 3 articles with you about Post (article) and related issues.

In this article, I will continue to help you come up with a new concept in WordPress. That is Page (also known as page).

This article shows you how to create a complete page in WordPress.

In fact, many people who are new to WordPress will be confused between the concepts of Post and Page. It’s okay, don’t rush. If you follow this article throughout and practice step by step, I believe you will recognize the difference between these two types.

How to create a page in WordPress?

  • Step 3: Enter a title and content for the page:

In there:

  • (1): Enter the title of the page
  • (2): Enter the content of the page

  • Step 4: Select the page properties as shown:

In there:

  • (3): Select Parents i.e. which page is the parent page of the current page. Default is (no parents) i.e. independent page, no parent.
  • (4): Select Template for page. Depending on each theme, this option will have more or less options. Default is Default Template. If you choose to enter, there will be another option: Page without Sidebar that is, the page does not have a Sidebar.
  • (5): Order is the display order of the page. 0 is the default value.

  • Step 5: Click Publish To finish creating the new page:

So you have finished creating a new page in WordPress.

Conclusion

Now try going to the homepage to see if you can see the page you just created. Oh definitely not. So where is the page located? And if you pay closer attention during the image creation process, there seems to be no place to select Category, Tags, etc.
