Today, I’ll guide you through the user configuration process in WordPress. To adjust your settings, head over to Users > Your Profile or simply hover over your username on the top menu and select Edit My Profile.

First, let’s talk about the Visual Editor. If you disable the visual editor when writing, you’ll have to rely on the text tool for formatting.

Next up, you can customize the Admin Color Scheme and enable or disable Keyboard Shortcuts. For more information on shortcuts, you can check out this link.

You also have the option to toggle the Toolbar on the front-end, set your Username (which is unchangeable), input your First Name, Last Name, Nick Name, and choose how your name displays publicly.

Don’t forget to provide your Email, Website, a brief Biographical Info, and upload a Profile Picture. To change your password, navigate to the New Password section.

Lastly, utilize the Sessions feature to log out of all devices in case of a security breach.

In conclusion, by following these steps, you can easily update your user information on WordPress. Stay tuned for our next article on creating additional users.
