Difference between WordPress and wordpress.org, wordpress.com:
On the internet, there are 2 domains using the word WordPress that is wordpress.com and wordpress.org. So, it often creates confusion for you. But through this article, you will understand clearly their differences and have the right choice for you.
First, as mentioned in the previous post, WordPress is itself, that is 1 Free CMS. You can download the setup to any server to publish content on the web.
WordPress.org is the home page of the open-source code of WordPress. Here you can find official documentation as well as find support, discuss the source code of WordPress.
WordPress.com is a WordPress distribution site as a paid and free service. This is also a product of Automattic to help you create a website quickly, without installation. But your website will have some limitations such as only using themes in the list provided by wordpress.com. You cannot install additional plugins but can only use available features. Therefore, I will choose and go into WordPress downloaded and installed from wordpress.org.
