By default, pages created in WordPress do not automatically display on the website, but can be accessed through a URL. This article explains how to add a page to the website menu and display the content on the home page. To add a page to the menu, go to Appearance > Menu, create a new menu if needed, and select the pages to add. To set a page as the home page, go to Settings > Reading, choose a static page option, and select the desired page. This guide makes it easy for users to access specific pages on the website.

By default, after you create a page in WordPress, the page won’t automatically display on the website, but there will be a URL to access that page. In this article, I will guide you on how to put a page on the menu and display the content of a page on the home page.

Bring page to menu

I will delve deeper into the menu later, but here, I’ll show you how to put a page on the menu. After creating a page, such as "Introduction" and "Contact," you can put these pages on the menu. First, you need to enter Appearance > Menu. If there is no menu available, you can create a new one. Enter a Menu Name (e.g., Menu 1) and click Create Menu. Then, switch to the Manage Locations tab. In this theme, there are 2 menu positions: Top primary menu and Secondary menu in the left sidebar. Use the menu you created and click Save Changes.

After that, go back to the Edit Menu tab, select the pages you want to include in the menu, and click Add to Menu. Finally, click Save Menu to add the pages to the menu. Now, you have successfully added these pages to the menu.

In the upcoming section, I will provide a detailed guide on how to use the menu effectively.

Use a page as your home page

If you want the Home page to display the content of a specific page, such as a page named "Home," follow these steps. Go to Settings > Reading and select Front page displays. Choose A static page (select below), then select the page you want to set as the homepage. Click Save Changes to apply the settings.
